Fairfax Connector
When Fairfax County’s Department of Transportation needed to communicate important commuter updates to local residents via street teams and community events, they turned to DepartmentC.

Engaging audiences ‘in real life’
Connecting with residents where they live, work, play—and commute.
Fairfax County Connector, the largest local bus system in Northern Virginia, sought to increase residents’ awareness of route changes and available resources, including bike storage and free parking garages. To help the County achieve its goals, DepartmentC developed and executed plans to engage with commuters at key transportation hubs and summer concerts.
